My review would be rated lower if my experience finished the way it started. I needed my license BEFORE the ceremony as we had a very tight schedule the day of. I called 30 days prior to the date I needed the ceremony to be(because that’s as early as you can schedule them) was placed on hold for 17 minutes and when I finally got to ask questions, the rep was very cold and sounded like a recording, repeating herself over and over to where I had to interrupt her and basically break down my timeline for that day. For some reason she wasn’t ok with me getting my license prior-she was pushing same day as ceremony. Somehow someone else got scheduled for the first time slot(maybe that’s why I was on hold for 17 minutes). We went and handed in the license app a few weeks prior to the ceremony date. Lucky us-to the same woman who answered my call a few weeks prior. Any questions we had were quickly referred to the paper in the envelope. However, it was a quick process. This is what saved this review!!! Day of-we worked with another rep in the office when we arrived an hour prior to our appointment time. The magistrate was already in the office and after being advised by our rep we were on a time constraint, he came out and took care of us 30 minutes before our appointment time!!! Which was such a relief! I couldn’t thank them enough! I just wish the customer service was a bit more pleasant by the other rep. Especially working in a department issuing marriage licenses-maybe try to make the, already nerve wracking experience a bit more pleasurable or even pretend you like your job.
