I called Frank’s during the pandemic (June), asking about their Janome Sewing Machine inventory. I spoke with Andy who told me they had no machines, but he thought they’d get a few more in toward the end of July. He said he’d contact me to let me know. Andy was true to his word; he called me and said he had a model that was in my price range. I explained I live in North Carolina, but I wanted to buy a Janome for a friend who lived near his dealership in Montrose, CA. During our phone call, I arranged to purchase the machine and have my friend visit his shop to pick it up. It was a surprise for her, and Andy had the machine all ready when she arrived to take it home. She’s been happy with her Janome, and I’m appreciative of the excellent customer service from Andy.

Went back to Frank's on 4/6/20 for some repair work on our Kenmore sewing machine after a previous experience in 2018. However, this time, after keeping the machine for 4 days, Harlan from Frank's informed us that the machine was now too old, that parts were no longer available and that the internal belts were stretched and unusable and that the machine was not repairable Frank's returned the machine to us in the same condition as when we brought it in, so we took the machine across the street and a couple of blocks away to Mahall's , who made the appropriate analysis of the problem, serviced the sewing machine and returned it to us in good working order.

I went to Frank's around 10 years ago to get a vacuum repaired because I like my canister vacuum and didn't want to give it up. They were very nice, repaired it quickly, and the price was very reasonable. I was impressed with them, so when I saw they had sewing machines I told myself I would go there when I ever decided to get another sewing machine. I went just this past weekend, and Harlan was very nice, even when I said I needed about the cheapest thing he had because I'll only use it once in a while. He pulled out a nice machine, showed me the basics of how to use it, tensioned it for me, and spent quite a bit of time with me (after the time they were supposed to close). I checked, and the price of the machine was minimally more than it would have cost me online (but the online price was more if I counted in shipping costs). If you want great service for vacuum repair or a nice sewing machine and friendly service, this is the place to go.
