The building looks amazing...almost as a real Naval ship. Love driving by that section of highway on the 95/295 and seeing it off to the side.

Was stationed there in the early 80s, in the admin office. I loved every minute of it the comradery was First Rate among officers and enlisted men and women alike.

US Navy Combat Systems Development building, used for testing sea-going combat system radars, computers and software suites and development of new capabilities for the warfighter. The bridge, mast and partial superstructure were created to provide ship-accurate metal framework and componentry for testing the radar systems at the site, including backscatter and interference from the mast. The AEGIS SPY-1D antenna mounted in one of the radar array locations is actually the repaired array from the USS Cole (DDG-67), removed from the ship and overhauled after she was attacked in 2000 by al Qaeda via an explosive suicide boat in Yemen's Aden harbor.
