A group of 20 of us stayed here and had an unforgettable weekend. Kent is a welcoming host and gives meaning to the phrase MN nice. The fireplace was already going for us upon arrival and everything was tidy. We would 100% come back again! Thanks, Kent!

I visited Eagle Ridge Lodge over Labor Day weekend with my family and friends and I enjoyed every bit of it! Kent (owner) was very responsive and always helped whenever I reached out in concerns to anything. Rooms were great, lots of bathrooms to use and lots of things to do outdoors! I recommend Eagle Ridge Lodge to anyone who is interested!
We stayed for a wedding this last weekend Aug 7-Aug 9. The lodge was beautiful inside and out!! Sleeping accommodations, for our large family, was beyond perfect. The little "dens" in the rooms upstairs were cute. Kent, you clearly have spent a lot of time on the lodge and it shows!!
This place is the coolest place I have stayed in Minnesota, it’s so beautiful and every place you look you see something else amazing and unique!!! The owner is one of the coolest old guys I have met he has so many amazing stories and that alone makes the stay that much better. You have to get him to take you on a ride it’s so much fun!! I will stay here every time I am up this way!
Eagle Ridge Lodge was a gorgeous and accommodating space for a large group. The location was close to the TC. Although I had a great time, I wouldn’t consider coming back due to various reasons listed below: 1) Website lists that you’ll have entire place to yourself/party of folks, but we found out the owner stayed in the lodge the entire weekend we stayed there. One evening around 2am, owner came through hallway of main floor and surprised us by asking for a midnight snack. NO PRIVACY WHATSOEVER! 2) Along with privacy, we were never told the owner would come around and take photos. No photography release was provided to us or signed by us. My children were outside in their swimming suits and I noticed the owner was taking photos. That is a no-no! 3) The master bedroom I stayed in was an extension to the lodge - however as night fell, the heat was unbearable throughout the night and during our weekend. There was a vent inside the bathroom, but no airflow came through. We also found that the key code pad to lock/unlock the door did not fully engage and my children were able to open the door. 4) While organizing our items into the drawers to declutter the counter space, I noticed mice poop. Additionally, there were ants crawling inside on the main floor. 5) BEWARE OF ADDITIONAL UNDISCLOSED FEES - As a large group who cooked all of our meals, we accumulated a lot of trash. The trash bins were full and visible on the ground near the trash bins, but the owner did not take them until we personally asked him. We found out the owner charged us for our trash for the whole weekend.
My boyfriend and I found ourselves stranded in Mora after our car broke down. We had our dogs with us so finding a pet friendly place Nearby was impossible. We called this place close to 11pm and miraculously Kent answered and was happy to accommodate us! Words cannot explain how relieved we were!! I was so desperate to find a place I didn’t even look through pictures on google, and when we arrived I wasn’t even sure what to expect. We were absolutely blown away by how clean and beautiful this place was!!! Kent - you absolutely saved the day and words cannot express how grateful we are that you helped us ️ We highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway with friends or family.
