FMI used to be a great company in 2010. Now it is going on the downhill. The chance of the FMI survival now is more likely less than 20% (FMI debt is 80% according to the news). Therefore, most of the projects in the Morenci mine are mostly done. I think when the American site will be done in a couple years, the Morenci mine will be over. FMI employees have great pay and benefits, but for their safety concerns. FMI management is the worst I have ever seen. They ignore many safety issues and that have lead to their employees' dead and injuries in the recent years. An employee had 30% of the body electrical burn due to no training, and the supervisor assigned him to do the job without verifying if he was a trained person. There have been many safety issues at this workplace if I list all of them here on Google. But if you ever have a chance to employ in this company, just make sure you know it is time to get out, otherwise you will be ended up with lungs cancer or die in an incident.

I like Morenci mine, and other mines in Arizona. Have worked with them since the 1980's
Super cool to get to drive through this mine and see the overlooks. The Coronado Trail is one of the best roads in the country & this makes a great starting point
If you have never seen how copper is mined at these places its quite an interesting process to see.
