Super nice campground manager. Sites are wooded and nicely spaced. Several of them are along the lakeshore. Cleanest bathrooms I've seen and the fire ring was even cleared of ashes. Felt very safe. I recommend this place for everyone, including those with disabilities. I slept in a tent but not all sites are equally nice for tents. Some are better suited for campers/trailers.great experience over all!

Bathrooms we booked by are closed. So that's disappointing. The lot we booked is flooded so we are having to level and open storage in a foot of water in some spots. We could move if we wanted I'm sure, but we have already set up and don't want to relevel and all that, easy fix. Have a drain where the water puddles ups, its not a small puddle. Don't rent lot 26 is all I would suggest the rest of the grounds are great.

Clean and private campsites (some of them are private), friendly and helpful staff but they have a no alcohol rule. Great for family but if you're looking to take a trip with the boys to get away from the wife and kids and you enjoy a pour, or 8, this may not be the place for you. However, we did take the no alcohol rule as more of a suggestion to not act up and keep the drinking low key. We had no issues. We are all 40 and forgot how to have fun at least a decade ago. Great place as long as you're not 20 something looking to go get tore up with a bunch of friends.

The roads to the campsite are a little rough, but it wouldn’t be camping if you didn’t smack your head one good time on the side of your car. Bathroom/shower facility was clean, modern, and will lit. Staff was very nice - they even delivered firewood to us upon request. Pricing was very reasonable, as well. We’ll definitely be back when we plan another trip to Blue Ridge.

Bring water shoes!!! And you will have the best day. Get there early on the weekends. The water is cool and feels great on a hot summer day. The swimming area is large and gets super deep. Our family loves it. Plenty of shady areas to picnic. We’ve rented kayaks and had fun exploring the lake. They also have paddle boards for rent- including a party paddle boat which looked fun and held 4-6 people. They have floats, grilling stuff, water shoes and snacks/drinks for sale.
