I took my daughter here to get her a mask, snorkel, and fins. First off.....The property the store sits on is really cool! Reminds me of a tropical oasis in the middle of NJ. Bill and Cookie took their time to fit both of us properly for our gear, and made sure it was correct. Then they patiently taught my 9 year old how to wear, use, wash, and store her gear. This is an honest mom and pop shop with good prices.. We will definitely be back.

I learned to scuba dive here and I can say that the quality of the training was very good.

Bill and Cookie run a a fantastic dive center, and the experience that they have is unmatched. They had the first PADI Dive Center in NJ and it shows in everything they have to offer. I first started my Open Water class with them a year ago and it was great. Bill is an awesome and passionate instructor and he made everything really easy to understand and learn. We did our Open Water dives with Kevin Reynolds who is also a great instructor, and because of the break in our class due to COVID-19 we were even able to do a refresher class with Kevin before we did our dives in the inlet. I went on to do my Advanced course with Mike Vollmer right after and it was a great course. Mike’s experience and knowledge is extensive and we had a lot of fun on our dives. Bill and Cookie take the time to make sure you get gear that fits you and your needs. They have top of the line gear in stock at good prices, and they service all of the gear that you buy with them. If you’re looking to get into diving or looking for a new dive center ECDC is the way to go.

One, I was intimidated by the expense of it but more importantly, just flat out nervous that I wasn't meant to be a diver after a terrible experience doing a rushed lesson years ago in Catalina.

I just finished my Phase 1 open water diving class with Bill and it was a great experience. He is a very thorough instructor and is extremely passionate and knowledgeable. Their dive shop has an awesome selection and great prices. The most important thing is Bill and Cookie really take their time to make sure you get what you really need and don't try to sell you on anything. Great place and even better people. Thanks again for all of your help! I’d like to update that I just finished phase 2 with Mike Vollmer as my dive instructor, and wow, what an awesome experience. Mike is great to learn from as he’s super clear, patient and has a great way of calming and preparing you for anything that may arise. After speaking with him more between dives, I realized what a wealth of information he was able to provide, but more importantly that he’s a really nice guy. I would definitely highly recommend him to anyone!
