This company has two locations and we rented kayaks from them just outside of Starved Rock Park. The staff were very nice and accommodating, and were patient in explaining the safety and Basics about Kayaking. The kayaks were very well maintained and easy-to-use. We rented a tandem kayak and found the area that we went along the Illinois River to be filled with birds. While some areas were very shallow, it was better than being in the very busy middle of the river where all of the speed boats were going. We are definitely going to be coming back many more times. I give kayak Morris five Stars.

I believe they have two locations. I went to the starved rock location. I enjoyed it. It was a little shallow when I went but enjoy the experience. Mostly open water with no shade. We reserve a tandem (for two people) and two single kayak. When we got there we asked if we could change it for two tandem. They did exchange but no refund just credit. Overall I had a good experience but I like the trips where their is lots of shade and miles of banks you can go through and explore This trip is just open water.

Their customer serivce by text, responds quickly and is super helpful to first time campers. Love that you can rent their tents for camping pictured. I highly recommend their camping and kayaking. A great fun weekend at a reasonable price.

SUPER disorganized. I tried to make reservations online but they were sold out so I texted the number on the site, they took a long time to respond and finally told us to head over. When we arrived at the starved rock location the girl at the table said they would MAYBE have kayaks available at 3:30, it was 2pm. We told her we would wait. I left with the car to get gas while someone from our group waited. 20 minutes later I got a call that the kayaks were ready and we could head out. A different employee had come to the table and asked my mother if she was being helped and then proceeded to tell her they had plenty of kayaks available. Why didn’t the first employee know they had plenty of kayaks available, why did it take a different employee coming out to actually help us. The lack of clear communication was enough to discourage me from going through this company again, it was a frustrating experience. The actual trip was fine, pretty standard kayaking, good prices for all day and 4 hour trips. Decent scenery. The guy who helped put our kayaks in the water and pull them out at the end was very helpful and friendly but all in all it was a pretty irritating experience to just book some kayaks.

Great basic camp site. Loved being off the river .. but they need more dumpsters for garbage, and need to clean the bathrooms more than once per day. They also charge 10 for a \jumbo\ bundle of wood that is no bigger than your 4.99 bundle of wood from Walmart.
