The dining experience is always excellent at the Fort. I was with a group of 11 of us, celebrating a birthday. Every plate was completely cleaned off with many in our group really enjoying the "Game Plate" option in particular. My steak was cooked to perfection. The salad was a little plain but served ice cold and with excellent ranch dressing, the way I like it. One small criticism, I asked for salt and pepper from waitress and her helper. Both agreed to bring it, but never did. As it turned out, food was excellent and perfectly seasoned so I didn't need thos things but still... Beautiful ambiance here. I would recommend for special occasions as it is pricey.

Wonderful early Vday celebration tonight here. Really great find! We both had the buffalo ribs and buffalo tongue for an appetizer. Absolutely delicious! The rib meat fell right off the bone! Cooked perfectly! The tongue had a very distinct stronger taste, but was very good! Always looking to try new foods! The salad was really good as well with homemade vinaigrette dressing. We also received homemade bread - rolls and pumpkin bread with some sort of nuts in it. Both were excellent The ambiance here is very unique as well. I would recommend sitting near the fireplace. Excellent service and excellent food. 126 check for ample food, an appetizer and two alcoholic drinks. A perfect night! Highly recommend checking this place out!
Went today for an early dinner to celebrate Easter. When we arrived they informed us the leg of lamb was not available due to quality issues. She recommended the lamb t bone chops instead. They were delicious and glad we chose them. Everything was from the breads, salad with dressings, entree and desert. The service was excellent too. Our waitress was Ruth and she was wonderful! We were even gifted a beautiful cookbook as a gift.

This restaurant goes way beyond my high expectations! Food was unique, incredible, and absolutely delicious. Ian was our server and was so attentive. We had out of town guests and they were quite impressed. This is one of the finest places to experience Colorado at its finest. At the end of our dinner we were presented with beautiful Fort cookbooks. What a wonderful evening. We will be back!!
Denver's best fine dinning experience. Grew up hear Coming West by Dan (the high school teacher). We had some surprise out town guest and loved it. At the time we when got a cook book (our out of town guest took with them). A treasure for to take to Florida with them! Thank you.
