Love this place!!Debbie and her husband were so helpful. The location was perfect. About a 15 min. Drive to Ingram. The grounds were spacious and full of fun amenities like a saloon on site, fresh eggs and produce . Our cabin, Wild bill, was the perfect size, and the sweet treats in our welcome basket was a perfect touch. Thank you for a fun time. We will be visiting again this spring!!

This is the greatest place in Texas for rest and relaxation. We went there over the weekend to celebrate my wifes birthday and our anniversary, and had the best time ever! It is so peaceful there and it was awesome, just sitting in front of the cabin looking at the live oak trees and watching the deer run by on their way to the feeder. The staff was so nice and accommodating. Check in was very easy, and we got our code to the cabin and settled in. Mountain Home is such a wonderful place and the food around there was the best ever. We still had a good cell signal for emergencies only, and enjoyed the great outdoors. I am not sure if they do this every night but the Saturday night we were there, they made angus beef burgers and they were fantastic!!! I highly recommend staying here if your into relaxing!!!!

Very fun, friendly, cozy charming and clean. BONUS!- you get the pleasure of watching a rare variety big game deer and animals around your camp. ALSO- PERFECT SPOT FOR SPECIAL EVENTS. They also have cabins. Wish I could have stayed longer for the Spoon beer tasting.

We took some friends who were in town here and stayed two nights. I booked the cabin but wanted to ask questions and didn't get a call back until a few days later. I think they're new so there's only two people who run the place so if they're busy then there's no way to get in contact directly. We did get a call back eventually and upgraded our cabin to the main house. The whole place was beautiful and the house was fully stocked with more than we needed. Very clean and owners are very hospitable and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Kelly even gave me a few places to call to go float the river. The internet on the TV didn't work and owners came right away to come try an fix. (They aren't very tech savvy so it took them a little bit to fix) but did get working. Was told there were places to get to water from the property but didn't see any. We ended going about 25 minutes to float on the Guadalupe. Not bad but was expecting to be relatively close to water to just sit in besides the pool. Pool is nice and hot tub was a nice touch at night time. Campfire they do on Saturdays is awesome. There was plenty of wildlife, lots of deer to watch. They have a trail but is pretty tiny. Kind of just a place to go check out deer. They have chickens around and a turkey which was awesome to go look at. But be careful because the turkey did get territorial when we were walking back to the house. We laughed about it together because it wasn't anything bad. But if you have children, then you might want to keep an eye out just in case. Overall very relaxing and a great place to get away for a while. They do have a few opportunities to make this place more amazing but they're working hard to get it done. It's new so I'm sure they'll work out the kinks soon. Would recommend!

Camp hosts Rick and Deb are extremely nice people. We are first time RVers, so they took the time to show us the ropes. The owners are also very thoughtful people who know what makes a good life. There are chicken running around (one of them is called lady Gaga) and you can’t miss the deers - oh they are right outside of your window! They usually just nom away, but occasionally sprint across the estate in large groups that makes you feel like you are on a safari.

Fairly new park but it's beautiful. They are putting in pull through overnight spots up front, have 12 full hookup spots further back, cabins, weekend store, and it's in an exotic game farm, so deer run around the campgrounds. To enter, you must have the code for the gate which you get by calling ahead. There is even a church and Hall for special events! Owner is great. Friendly and peaceful.
