I always use this business when it comes to shipping large, unusual packages that I cannot package myself. Philip is always kind, prompt, and professional. I was a little short on my shipping fees, as the item ended up being quite strange, and Philip offered to help bring the fee into my budget. I was able to get the money to only partially take him up on his offer, but this place is THE place to go for all your shipping needs. A 10/10 from me. I won't go anywhere else.

My family has an antique baby bassinet that every baby since 1929 has slept in. Our newest family member is due December 2020 in Hanford, California. Mountain Mail packed and shipped this priceless antique from Placerville to Hanford. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. We are so happy that we shipped through Mountain Mail.

What ever story they tell you, get it in writing because it will change with the next person. Don't count on them for service unless you're able to follow up in person. Follow up post: What an amazing response from the owner... total BS, but amazing. Yelling and screaming? I don't think so. He called and wanted to "explain it to me so I would understand". Here's what I understand. I understand that when I came in to ask if mail forwarding was available, I was told "yes, we can that, no problem". My information was taken, and no mention of an additional cost (which didn't raise a red flag as the USPS does this for free). I understand that for two months I have not received one piece of mail, a real problem since my wife's health insurance premium statements are included. (He tells me there are only two pieces of mail in my box.) I understand that at no time did Mt. Mail try to contact me to say there was a problem. I understand that now that I had to call to follow up, now I get the second story and the response, "do you have a credit card on file?" Yes, I hung up on him and made my first post. NOW he's suddenly concerned (Didn't call back until he'd read the post) and wants you to believe I'm unreasonable. Total BS. My review stands. Customer beware.

I've been a customer here for 13 years, through several different ownership changes. I rent a mailbox (and receive a ton of packages), and sometimes also use their shipping services. The current owner is by far the most efficient and professional, and he has made lots of upgrades to the place and the services offered. He has been willing to go the extra mile in terms of customer service, too, which I really appreciate.

My wife and I have decided to use mountain mail anytime we need mail services. They are amazingly friendly and helpful. They ship out Amazon returns from several carriers. They are a great example of how you get better quality and service by shopping local. Also, while you are in there, you can buy a woodworking kit from JT Birch Woodworking for the kids. We have purchased a bird house kit and keepsake box kit.
