Desserts: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Overall: Not a bad place to grab some sweets. Super nice staff as well. The extended review... Desserts: Imperial - 3/5 - Such a pretty dessert. It was decent for taste and so many different elements of texture for this pastry. I'm wondering how they even made it because of all the different layers. Black Sesame Croissant - 5/5 - This was excellent. It was a nice black sesame cream inside that was super tasty. Ambiance: 5/5 - In normal circumstances it definitely looks like a lovely place to hang out. Service: 5/5 - We were a bit away from the place and when we called, they were an hour away from closing. They were willing to hold pastries for me since I was driving from Palo Alto which was very nice of them.

Generally I found the cakes too sweet. The sweetness is so prominent that all other pleasant flavors (like coffee and mocha) become transient. Only the strong sweetness haunts in your mouse. The cakes are very beautiful thought.

My reviews is far overdue. This little place is my go-to. I love their pastries. They have one of the best lattes I've ever had. I also love their mozzarella tomato and basil sandwich. Their roast beef sandwiche is good too. They have one of the best tasting pastries. I've tried almost everything. A few of my favorites are the chocolate pillow and London Fog, Black forest. It's really cute and cozy inside. It's part of Alexander's Steakhouse. Worth every penny.

I ordered a custom cake to celebrate my friend's thesis dissertation defense. The cake itself was exactly how I envisioned it and it made my friend's day extra special! Then I had the pleasure to taste the cake! The cake tasted as amazing as it looked! I'm so impressed!! I highly recommend trying their pastries and their cakes!
