A great place for individual instruction in your instrument of choice. My daughter has thrived in this very supportive learning environment. The annual recital at the Tarrytown Music Hall is the perfect showcase for musicians at all levels of performance. And it is a free community event. Can't say enough good things about Mozartina and inspiring director Helen Ringeisen.

This is where I grew up. I remember performance class in the main instruction room fondly. Mrs. Ringheisen instructed us in the most gentle, yet effective way possible and we always left with a smile on our face. At the end of it all we would get hot chocolate and cookies and the cats would be around. Dr. Berthold Ringheisen would be there in the waiting room with the antique carpets and fireplace, and ancient national geographic magazines, always able to get me, the quiet one, to talk. As usual I would have forgotten to get my nails cut before playing and my dad would escort me outside and cut my nails. Time would pass and eventually it was time to go upstairs to theory class. We always left happy and feeling like I got something done. As a rule I would forget something in the waiting room, come back an peruse more of the national geographic. When it was finally time to go to the car, we would go get a bagel from the bagel emporium knowing that I would be happy for the next week until the next lesson.
