Talk about price gouging. This company is selling 2”x6”x20’ pressure treated lumber for almost 30 a board. That’s about twice the price it was before COVID. This is almost the same price as composite boards. How is it that this store is still in business?
After coming in to 84 Lumber for a couple years now I am amazed with this company. The level of Customer Service is unparalleled by any big box store like Depot. Over the years I have bought windows and doors, as well as designed an addition to my home. I have even worked with them on a few of my customers jobs. Each time I was taken care of like they were on the job-site with me. During the projects if I had any concerns or questions they were ready to help, even if it was something other than what they provided for me (got all my framing through 84). Overall I would recommend anyone who is interested in a home improvement project or even any contractor looking for quality and trustworthy people/material to go to 84. They may not have all the little things but they can handle any project you throw their way, from a small shed to a full house.
Good selection and friendly staff
I have shopped there occasionally for about 25 years and always get good service. Sometimes, I do have to wait a while for a clerk to arrive at the counter, but they are always courteous and efficient.
