Baby the food was excellent the hospitality was super except for one little old lady the cashier. I just wanted change for a ten so I could leave a tip for the young lady. She said get back in line or put it on your card. I hadn't eaten there in a while so sometime you have to ignore so folks and keep it moving,cause it's always one that rudes it for the group. I work with the public all my life so I know how to kill you with kindness. I will be back but it will not be that restaurant.

How could anyone dislike Cracker Barrel? Such a staple American institution. From the cool antique/art hanging all around the restaurant to the amazing food. I always get the chicken fried chicken and it never disappoints. I brought my wife for the first time and she fell in love with the entire place from the food to the shop. Our server Tyler did an amazing job, quick and attentive service. I will be back soon and every time I’m in the area.
Best part is the coffee, it has a natural sweet aroma. I ordered pancakes with scrambled eggs and hash brown casserole. My partner ordered regular pancakes. Lack of an omelette option sucks but pancakes tasted so good and the syrup in the little airplane bottle is cute.
The wait to be seated was extremely long. I added myself to the wait list via Cracker Barrel's website, it said a table would be ready in 25 minutes. My reservation was for a table of five. Upon arrival the host said a table would be available in 10 minutes..... We waited over an hour to be seated. On a Saturday, management should not have had an employee new to hosting seating customers by herself. She should have been shadowing a more experienced employee or had assistance. She seemed overwhelmed and did not know what she was doing. Once a senior employee, possibly a manager interjected myself (party of 5) and many others were quickly seated, including a party of 11. My wait time went from 10 minutes to over a hour. Management should have stepped in earlier. I understand COVID presents many challenges but I would have appreciated better communication and at least an apology for the wait.
Always friendly staff and love shopping while there. They always have such unique things.
