Great place to go and escape the heat from Tucson and also get in a hit of exercise and taking the scenery. I recommend taking the ski lift it was a wonderful experience being able to travel over all the grass and through the trees.
We were there last year and it was a great experience. The night was freezing but they made sure we were comfortable and we saw some amazing things. The guides are knowledgeable and fun. Definitely recommend!
Signed up for the astrophotography 101 class and it was great. The time went by relatively fast! Betty Maya Foott did an excellent job presenting on considerations to take when shooting astrophotography! When they say it's chilly in the mountain top they mean it! Soo if you go, take a hat, gloves and warm jacket! The night time photography time was great. But the telescope photos were the best! Overall go check it out for yourself!
