We got there around 5:30 on a Friday afternoon, were the first ones in the outdoor seating. Mostly shaded seating, but a warm early September night so the large fan was nice. We got the crab dip, two dozen raw oysters and a half pound of shrimp. Everything was sooo good. The oysters were so fresh, talked to the owner and they got them from the Chesapeake Bay less than 2 days before. BYOB! Which we didn’t know about but we were traveling so happened to have our cooler in the car. Many people had soft bag cooler they just brought up to their table. Everything came out quickly. Highly recommend!
Yes Yes Yes!!! I was visiting the area and saw that this was highly recommended. I whole heartly agree it lives up to his name and the food is outstanding I love that they take care and pride when making the food. The prices are amazing and the food is outstanding!
If you like steamed seafood,( oysters, head-on shrimp,lobster tails,etc.etc.) it's the best local place on Shem Creek! If you like sides you don't belong. Also if you don't tip well( you definitely don't belong) they keep prices great for the average people so please support your local buisiness by making up where prices are low! By the way, look out for Inky

We were turned away at the door because we had 12 yr old kids with us. We were told “this isn’t the place for kids everyone here will be drunk shortly”.
Best 24 oysters I’ve had in a long time. Really nice to be able to only buy enough to eat I thought in one night but I had to spread them out over two nights because 12 of them filled me up. Perfect salt content just plain delicious.
