They never deliver my furniture, and they need me to pick it up from their storage although I paid them a door to door out of state fee!! I was warned of the hidden costs packrat has, but I was not aware of, is that they can say we can’t deliver your unit to your house we can offer you a delivery to a near by location or a 100 cash back and you can pick your furniture up from our storage location! Here is my experience with Packrat. I moved from Florida in June 2020 and as I didn’t have an exact location m to move to, I requested for the unit to be stored until I find a house to move in to. The costumer service assured me back then, that they can deliver to the west suburb Chicago area as long as it’s permitted for the unit to be place on the street. Here I am 2 months later ready to receive my furniture back at my new house near the Chicago area and when I called the costumer service they told me sorry we can’t deliver to this area we can ether pay you 100 back for you to pickup your stuff from the unit located at our storage area or we can deliver to another address! Imagine how hard this to be in this situation where you have nothing to do but accept what they offer you! I don’t know how I did this to my family! I was going with another company and it had 0 red flags while Pack rat had so many! They tricked me in beating the offer I had with few buck less and here I am paying the price. I just feel like a hostage with no one to talk to or negotiate my situation at least! The company didn’t send me a contract and I had no idea where my stuff is! Moving stress is a huge burden for me to follow up on a Shipibg company! Why would anyone do such a painful scam! I can’t sleep just thinking of unloading the unit which I packed so neatly which I have to move to a u-haul truck and empty the u-haul again at my house! This is my order # 1907179

I am waiting........... guess since they just added another mo. Of storage for 600 for my 2 pods that were due her 7/15!! Today is 7/23. Not a word, no calls back, sent to voicemail, 12 messages for return call, NOT1! At 1st they’re exceptional! Then 5min. Later U callback for a ?, leave call back# in their voicemail, NOTHING! No supervisor to speak with. This has been an absolutely horrible experience. My bank acct. is overdrawn from the unauthorized 300 pod charge cuz my c.c. Was only able to pickup 300 for other pod. They then went to card I used to pay for transport on 7/6. They said the 25th it would arrive & be picked up 8/2. We called evening of 25th & were told pods were still in state left (24 days later & now 8/3 is new arrival date. OVER a mo.! When we said that’s not ok they said they’d put in a “request” to see if it could be sooner! Then...... NOTHING still, nota word 9 days Later! So Icallas new customer. As it’s the ONLY way to speak to ANY1, was sent to corporate where I spoke/ a Parker, told hi my problem also NO RETURN CALLS EVER, so what does HE do, tells me it’s to arrive in Loc. To be shipped & he will find out when we’d receive it. I asked for call back # for him & was told there was none, he’d shoot me an email for communication, STILL WAITING since Mon.i
