Awesome service. Very fair prices. Helpful staff. The negative reviews here are suspect. One of them seems to be written by a competitor, and the other one just seems too ridiculous. I've been bringing them my personal computers (and my work's computers) since 2011. Great guys.

We are very happy with Byte Me. When we opened our new optometry business in Mount Prospect in Sept 2011, Tom and Bert were very helpful. They interviewed us to get the specs right, built 4 PCs and a server for us at a fair price; found monitors, software and UPS to fit our budget and did the installation at no extra charge. Since then they have helped with networking questions and virus troubleshooting via remote connections. Dr. Linda Murray, Vista Linda Eye Care, Mount Prospect.

I have purchased every computer from ByteMe for the past 15 years. If there was something adverse with this business, I would be pretty silly to keep going back.. Always used and if there was a problem, Tom Nelson stood behind his sale. I think I may be on number 6 or 7. I have recommended this biz to many people and they were always happy. The bad review here is suspect-missing screws and stolen fan???? Nah.

I gave them 1 star..because, of the close location to my house. Other than that, they would've got zero stars. Kept my computer, for 4 days, and i had to call them, to check the status, of my computer...now, ain't that professional. Price to fix, would've been way more than the computer itself, so i declined services...but, they still charged me 24, to look at the computer. You think...since you kept my computer for 4 days, with no communication, with me, until i reached out...one, would wave the 24 dollar. Nope...some businesses, are just that damn greedy and unprofessional. BTW...got the computer fixed for 75.
