Dave did a great job working with a mixed group of enthusiastic skiers with varying abilities. The mix of classroom time and time in the field was just right to get a full understanding of the subject matter. I highly recommend the Avi 1 class to anyone who is interested in looking beyond the boundaries of a ski resort. Thank you Dave.

Our ski trip to North Lake hut was great. I enjoyed spending time with Dave and SWS guides. Everything about the trip was taken care off. Dave made us push hard during the day to achieve our objectives and fed us well during the evenings. Overall, North Lake hut trip was demanding because of the elevation.
Ive been backpacking and going into the mountains for a few years. Just finished the Denali Prep Course on Mt. Shasta and it was so valuable. Highest recommendation for Caleb as a guide. One of the best outings I've had, learned a ton. Caleb was great at explaining it all. Looking forward to taking additional course in the future.
I had a great experience with the SWS Avalanche course - professional instruction from a very experienced instructor. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to them next time for classes or guiding.
