So much fun... Yoga instructor was great. However was harder for this beginner student.

We finally got the chance to do goat yoga and it was wonderful! Everyone at Carolina Goat Yoga was helpful, kind and patient and made sure we had an enjoyable time. All the goats are named after country singers and it was hard to pay attention to the yoga instructor because you just want to pet the baby goats and hold them (the instructor tells you in the beginning she won't get her feelings hurt because she knows you will want to snuggle and play with the goats rather than pay attention to the yoga you should be doing!) All in all, it was fun and a great experience. I highly recommend doing this at least once!

Goat yoga is the best! It’s so much fun to hangout and play with the goats. They will jump up on you when sitting or in the right pose.. Awesome!

I had messaged the owner asking if she offered riding lessons for experienced riders, her reply was yes. She then told me to pay her 60 before the lesson started. When it was finally time for my lesson I arrived at the barn (for an hour long lesson) and they had me start brushing a horse. About 30 mins into brushing this horse (that’s right I said 30 mins of brushing a horse!) the “instructor” walks away and gets on the phone while I stand there (still brushing this horse). Her and the owner walk over and say that they didn’t realize I wanted English lessons. I’m am so disappointed at this point bc I haven’t gotten to ride and I am now learning they don’t even offer what I signed up to do! The owner says they might be able to work out a few English lessons and I continue brushing. I then learn that the full hour I paid to ride was only going to be brushing and then walking the horse to the ring and back. Even in a child’s beginner lesson they would get on the horse! So not only did the owner not ask about what type of riding I did but when I specifically told her I wanted experienced riding lessons I got to sweep poop and brush their horse for an hour and I paid 60 to do it, when REALLY they should have paid me in this situation. Later that evening I messaged the owner that I was disappointed in what she called an experienced riding lesson and I didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth or got what I signed up for. She then messages me back a day later saying they don’t have any lessons for me and immediately blocked me! If this isn’t the worst customer service and case of bad business I don’t know what it. She took my money and gave me nothing. Why would I ever pay 60 for one “lesson” to brush a horse and sweep your barn.. never to return?! The good news is I found a wonderful stable where I had a complete night and day experience from Ms Goat Yoga. I was treated very well and was able to ride on the horse all the way up to a canter on my first lesson.

The goats were precious as well as a couple of pigs and ducks!! Very doable yoga but the goats were the stars!! Highly recommend!!
