This class was horrible. I took the hybrid class, the online portion was great and informational. The in person skills training and test was supposed to be a two hour long class. The instructor Elizabeth came in and said don’t worry we’ll only be here for 15 minutes tops. When the class started she told us to show her 30 compressions on the adult manikin and after about 5-10 she said that’s good! And didn’t even look at us to see if we were doing it correctly then with the infant, same thing. Didn’t correct us or give feedback. When doing the “choking” session on the infant manikin several people were hitting the baby so hard and the head was flying around and she didn’t correct them at all. She didn’t even give us the test to take and said she already had our certifications ready before we even got there so it sounded like everyone was going to pads regardless if we did it correctly or not. The class lasted exactly 5 minutes and the instructor left the building before we even did. It was ridiculous and if it came down to it, I don’t have confidence that anyone taking this class would be able to save a life. Very disappointing and will definitely be calling to complain as well.
DO NOT USE,,,,,, I HAVE LEFT MESSAGES FOR MICHELLE, SHE WILL NOT RETURN MY CALL. THIS COMPANY WOULD NOT ACCEPT MY ALIGNMENT BASED ON ONE STUDENT SAYING I GAVE HER A CPR CARD... (I NEVER GAVE OUT A PHYSICAL CARD, ITS ALL DONE ONLINE). THEY NEVER CALLED ME TO INVESTIGATE, AND THEY DONT RETURN PHONE CALLS. MULTIPLE PEOPLE HAVE EMAILED AND CALLED THEM, WITH NO RESPONSE. I WILL POST ,,,, ONLINE - AND ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, AND TO AVOID MICHELLE, AND SEEK OUT A NEW COMPANY.
