I normally go there to fill prescriptions and the staff has been polite. The other day I was impressed when I walked to the back the pharmacist called by my full government. Reminded me of the theme song for \Cheers\! Nice work, Rite Aid.

I've been coming here for years. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and organized. It's easy to find what you're looking for.
Rite Aid is my favourite pharmacy and the one in Mount Vernon is very good. The staff is always willing to assist. The pharmaceutical dept.is always busy and they never neglect making sure I understand how to apply my medication.
Pharmacy staff never answer the phone
My wife suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and I had a very bad heel injury, we went to pick up some medication for my wife and there was only one lady online before us we went to sit down next to the counter since we were both in a lot of pain, and I couldn’t stand. After the clerk at the pharmacy took care of the customer before us, I told asked her if my wife’s prescriptions were in because we had called 30 minutes prior and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes. The clerk told me I had to make the line, I responded “we have been waiting here before everyone else.” She asked the lady that arrived after me if she could take me the lady said yes, since I was there before her and she saw me. The clerk said there was only one prescription ready not 3. We were still at the counter and I said we told the lady that was after us to go on ahead until we sort out what happened with the medicine. We called the doctors office and sorted out the problem, as soon as the lady that was behind us was finished, I informed the same clerk that we would take the medication they had and we would return for the other later, she told me I had to make the line all over again, by then there were over ten 10 online, after we have been there before everyone else. People that go to that pharmacy are mostly sick, they can’t expect for everyone to have the same resistance as everyone else and make absolutely everyone wait without taking into account what kind of pain they are feeling. To fix all of this, they should have a ticket system, where who arrives takes a number and they go sit and wait for their number to be called. This will eliminate all the unnecessary lines that block three isles, and eliminates the question or the disparity of who has been waiting longer to be serviced. In addition, allow crippled people like myself the ability to sit and wait until they are ready to get the prescription we need.
