Made me wait several months while in very poor health, in and out of the hospital for an iron infusion, lied to me about being able to get it quickly. On the day of my appointment was told my insurance doesn't cover it and I'd have to pay 800 out of pocket so I was forced to cancel. Was not given an apology, was not treated well at all, my life continues to be in shambles because someone made an error and didn't bother to check at any point, thanks so much.

My experience here started out good, met with my Oncologist first followed by my Radiologist. After a few visits with the Radiologist I decided to not take radiation treatments. I was started taking oral medication and had to stop one and try another. I was scheduled to have a blood draw and I went in and found that I was on the schedule, but the doctor didn’t put in the order. I sat there while the technician went to find the doctor and was told, he doesn’t think you need to get a blood draw? Very confusing and a waste of time getting someone to drive me there. When I saw him at my next appointment he said I didn’t need to have blood draws. In reading about he medication I’m taking, it said blood draws were needed.

My mother had an appt with an intervention radiologist who said she likely has carcinoma or carcinoma in situ in her lung. Said she needed a biopsy to be sure and that he would notify diagnostics and her doctor. 10 days later and we heard nothing out of anybody! She had an apt with her doc for something unrelated and I asked her about it. She didn't have a clue! She sent in orders in friday, monday afternoon I called diagnostics. They had received the paperwork from her primary but nothing from the radiologist. I had to DEMAND they call the radiologist right then. It's finally scheduled for next week. 3 WEEKS and a dozen phone calls later. Needless to say after the biopsy my mother WILL NOT be going to Skagit Regional or anywhere else in this county for treatment!

cancer sucked, but my experience with my treatment at skagit did not. Dr Mathey is such a positive cheerful dr, he genuinely cares about his patients and I trust him fully. The entire staff is wonderful, from front desk to chemo/radiation nurses, support staff, seriously everyone there is great! I was in treatment for over a year and never had a bad experience! Also driving north, traffic is never an issue! It’s nice to know that you can have a positive aspect of a very negative life event. I felt well cared for and supported here.

This place is terrible! They lack heavily in communication. I am a new customer and it's been an awful experience from the get go. I can't get my appointments scheduled. When I get appointments, I sit in the waiting area forgotten. I'm not feeling confident in my treatment...nobody seems to know what they're doing, it's scary and very disappointing.
