I have attended this gym for about 3 weeks now and prior to this I did Muay Thai for about 3 to 4 months. I will organize my thoughts as so: Instructors: The instructors are knowledgeable and are able to communicate technique in a concise and understandable way. I have improved my fighting skills largely because of the effective instruction and classes. Additionally, I appreciate their company and I feel embedded in a great network of friends which helps given that I just moved to Chicago from California. Atmosphere: I don't feel nervous making mistakes or appearing as if I don't know what I am doing because the people are very understanding and friendly. Overall, I will recommend this gym if you are into improving conditioning AND TECHNIQUE.

The Aiki training hall is a wonderful place for Muay Thai. The team is welcoming and knows what their are talking about. The courses are suitable for all levels and I encourage people to try the three different teachers (even if it means coming Saturday morning). They are really different in their way of teaching but are complementary. Finally, they try to often organize sparing sessions with another gym and carpooling for Muay Thai events in the region.

Aiki is a welcoming community for all levels. Many of us find Muay Thai as a fun way to mix up our workout routine. A few of us find Muay Thai an exciting new sport. No matter the level of fitness, the coaches provide a fantastic workout. As a former gym owner, I appreciate how coaches greet everyone who walks in and how clean the gym is kept. As a former professional athlete, I appreciate the level of coaching; there is deep Muay Thai knowledge at Aiki. Rick, Dario, Sherwin, Michael and the team are experts in their sport. Their expertise comes from years of training, fighting and dozens of visits to Thailand. Their passion is obvious- classes are challenging and detailed. I'll be learning from them for many years.

Just started classes. Instructors are patient, very understanding of beginners and really make you feel like you will get there. And instruction is excellent from every standpoint. Patient, thorough in teaching you the art, the right way and never failing to go over it again until you get it and can do it. Can't say enough about them.

I just took an intro class at Aiki Training Hall. Tonight's instructors, Dario and Sherwin, and the other class members were very welcoming and the class had a great casual, yet serious, atmosphere. Class members ranged in skill levels, from newbies like me to much more experienced, and everyone was nothing but friendly. I will be signing up. If you're interested in Muay Thai, definitely check out Aiki Training Hall...you'll probably find yourself signing up too...especially considering the reasonable prices and zero membership/cancellation fees.
