Awesome bridge!!! Great ride on the Adventure bike!! It's a must. I hear Regency bridge is closed to vehicle traffic (walk across only) thanks for that whoever you are!!! There is another bridge called Beveridge bridge on FM 200 NW of San Saba. Can only walk across it but still very cool. And don't miss The Wedding Oak, again on FM 200 NW of San Saba. You will go right by it if you got to Beveridge bridge. Lots of neat things to see around the area. Beautiful country.

Last suspension bridge in Texas located near to San Saba or Brady. Its also located very near to Geographical Center of Texas(30mins drive) ,another attraction in Texas. Currently the bridge is damaged and vehicles not allowed to pass through the bridge. Its located in serene location and happened to visit lot of deers after turning from the main road towards the bridge. View is so nice from the bridge overlooking the Colorado river. There are no lights around so avoid visiting after dark and the area has very low cell reception, so download maps offline before proceeding towards the bridge. Have a nice time

So beautiful! Was very disappointed we couldn’t drive over it. Someone screwed that up for the rest of us It is sooooo worth the visit though. Amazing to walk over, amazing view and whoa the feel of the suspension as you walk. Awesome.

I went there in the beginning of January of 2021 and the bridge was close for cars, but you can park on the side and walk on the bridge and the view is nice. Just be ready to feel how the wind move the bridge a little be like a “hamaca”.

Nice view but bridge is a lot smaller than I expected... long drive for a small payoff.
