Loved the Bob Ross Experience here and the history of this place. We should treasure having this local gem. I personally support them with a yearly membership even though I haven't got to experience a lot of their programs they are always great when I do get to see them. They also have some of the best apple cider around at their orchard shop.

I’m rating Minnetrista specifically as a wedding venue (but it’s a perfect place for a fun walk or place to take photos too.) Working with the event team was a breeze (especially needed since we lived on the west coast as we were planning our wedding.) we rented the rose garden and Cantina room. Both were absolutely perfect for our smaller wedding. I 100% recommend Minnetrista. The grounds were perfect for wedding and engagement photos too!

Really interesting place. History and activities, nice place to walk around. The Orchard shop is fun to explore.

Really enjoyed our experience here. We went to see the Bob Ross exhibits which were quite nice. Interesting to see how the old studio was recreated to be like it was during filming. I recommend it.

Usually I’m a big fan of Minnetrista. However, today we were so mistreated that I’m not sure if I’ll return. I was gifted a family day pass in mid-2020, which expired at the end of that year. Because of COVID, we were not able to use the pass before its expiration. I took my three small children to the museum today (something we don’t ordinarily do because of the price) and I was told they would they would not honor the pass. I fully expected them to honor it without a problem, due to the circumstances (the pandemic). When I pushed back, I was made to wait in the lobby for 45 minutes with three small children, having to go through some mysterious “chain of command,” over the phone while “higher ups” considered whether or not to grant us access. Very disappointing and a bummer for my kids. It definitely put a cloud over this experience for us. Would you rather your museum sit empty than honor an expired pass? This kind of logic makes no sense to me!
