I was experiencing a buzz in my cello when I played the open C string. Having played a few outdoor concerts, I felt it was time to bring my instrument to Muni Strings. Daniel has been taking care of open seams, bow rehairing and other needs. He suggested taking the top off to check on more than just the seams. The bass bar needed to be glued. But also, Daniel spent many hours repairing cracks and restoring the inner integrity of the instrument. I appreciate his dedication to service and the quality of his work.

Daniel recently repaired and re-haired 3 nice violin bows of mine. He was very knowledgeable and patient, carefully assessing how I used each bow and what would be the best hair choices to match my needs. I would definitely recommend him if you need to have a bow repaired or re-haired.

I don't frequent the WinterPark area often. But I'm glad I found this string shop! My cello had been collecting dust for a decade and COVID has given me plenty of time to pick it back up and start playing again. I believe his name was Daniel who helped me. He was very kind and patient and answered all my questions. If I ever need anything else for my cello I will definitely come back to this shop for any of my needs.

Went there a few days ago to see about purchasing a beginner’s violin for myself. The owner (I believe) was great. The instrument he presented to me sounded amazing even in my inexperienced hands. The customer service was great as well. He tuned the violin right in front of me, played a selection with it, then had me try. Professionally answered all of my and my husband’s questions and still treated us great when we decided to go home and think about it. He even gave me a list of teachers in the area. While I wasn’t originally planning on paying so much for a beginner instrument, it played so lovely that I fell in love with it in that instance. Not to mention how welcoming and professional he was, really helped cement my decision. Can’t wait to get back in the store and purchase it. J
