We only stopped by because First Watch was busy. I am so glad we did. This place does not disappoint. Big portions, great food, great prices and even better service. We live two hours away and this place is worth the drive.
We’ve been to the Diner 3 times now. The 2 times before, our order was always messed up. We decided to go one more time for fish and chips, biscuits and gravy. The waitress was great, she kept our tea filled up and was as nice as could be. The food, on the other hand left much to be desired. The fish was either over cooked or old. It was next to impossible to cut through and was like eating little toothpicks. It was a little tolerable after drenching it in tarter sauce. The gravy literally looked like vomit and didn’t taste too much different. The biscuits weren’t over cooked, they were plain stale. We’ve given this place 3 chances now. Three strikes you’re out. We won’t be back.
My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here on 01/16/2021, and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was good and menu was affordable and family friendly. I had the meatloaf platter and my wife had the chicken strip platter. Both meals tasted great and were promptly served fresh and hot.Their kid’s menu included items such as grilled cheese, silver dollar pancakes, and chicken strips. Because they were very busy we ate at the bar to avoid the wait time for a table. The service at the bar was stellar! We have no complaints and we highly recommend Metro Diner for tasty, affordable, dining.
We frequent a different metro diner in Florida, so know how good their food is. Murfreesboro Metro Diner did not disappoint. We had short wait of 5 minutes as they have moved out some tables for social distancing. Our server Alisha was very nice and attentive. My mom loves waffles so she prefers the Belgian waffle.
