The Heritage tank was here when my wife and I purchased the home in the fall of 2015 from her parents who used them for many years. We filled the tank. I have planned doing some tree removal and landscape work which needs to occur where the tank is located. i called Heritage in October 2017 and asked them to pick up the tank. Yesterday was February 21 2018 and the tank is still here. Yesterday I went to the office in Murphy and Ms. Loftis informed me that pick ups are their lowest priority and that's just the way it is. So, if you are a current customer with a problem that does not make Heritage/Amerigas some profit, they aren't concerned. 5 months to move a 250 gal tank seems excessive to me. After the trees are cut and the landscaping is done I won't be calling Heritage for service again. If a tree limb falls and damages my roof i will bill them.

The driver came out to autofill my tank. I was extremely surprised having not heard or seen anything as our local office was closed down and tanks removed from property. I tried my best to get in contact with someone to no avail.
Called AmeriGas on 18 Jan, 2021. Pilot light went out, couldn't relight it, and needed help to light pilot. My call was answered 22 minutes after I called. The woman was the only person there and said she could schedule someone to come to my house In town Murphy on Feb 3 (16 days later). I looked at my phone as the call was ending; it had taken 53 minutes. Time to find another Gas provider.
I would leave negative 1000 stars if I could. I switched to a different company because I have spent 5 months trying to get ahold of them. Now that I switched they said it will be 5 months before they can come pick up the old tank!!! So ten months in total dealing with this company! They do not have it together at all!!! STAY AWAY!!!
Will not answer their phone in under 20 minutes and give in accurate details of delivery. Was promised 5 to 10 days twice and a month later was told I needed to give them a credit card number where they could charge me for 100 gallons, no mention of per gallon cost, before they would even think of coming out. Never had mentioned this before and could not understand why I wouldn't let them charge my credit card before coming out. Afterall, they promised to be here in the next 5 to 10 days.
