This place is a perfect place to come and just unwind....take a break from everything for a while. Very peaceful...the place was fully booked when we got here but we never saw another person. Everyone was very quiet or gone most of the day. They are located only an hour from bryson city if you love hiking or craft beer like us. Cabins are quaint...has everything you would need and are kept very clean. We cant wait to come back.
This is a wonderful place to get away. The cabins are older, that's why the 4 star, but very clean & the owner was friendly & accommodating. I'll go back. I would have stayed several days this time if it was available.
River cove cabins is a great place to stay either long term or just a few days! Gary and Wanda are great hosts and very kind and friendly! The accommodations are great and the cabins are clean and tidy upon arrival. There’s a view of the river when the dam is open from a few of the cabins and there’s WiFi on the entire premise! Wanda works very hard cleaning the cabins for guest arrivals and she makes sure you have all of the necessaries needed to make your stay comfortable and noteworthy. There’s a charcoal grill and table out in front of every cabin as I have used this many times. I didn’t stay in the jacuzzi cabin although I have seen these and they look wonderful. It’s about five miles from downtown Murphy and is situated on a nice quiet spot by the river. I would recommend these cabins to anyone looking to get away to the mountains either for a few days or a few weeks!
As always, Wanda and Gary are the best. Great getaway and good base to tour the Smokies
