Looking for something to take up the time while in Austin. Try the museum of the weird. Nice for families and friends. You will see various items real and up close. From shrunken heads to the ice man, you will enjoy the weird that captivates you. Due to Covid19, you need to make reservations ahead of time. Easy to find from street but limited parking available. ENJOY!

What can be said?! A really neat place that blurs the lines of fiction and reality. There are many cool exhibits. It can be a little creepy for young kids, but still a lot of fun for families. I'm disappointed in the amount of frost and build up on the ice man exhibit, but that wouldn't stop me from going again.
Typical \Ripley's Believe it or Not\ type of museum, we dig these type of places, others may find it gimmicky. For 12 bucks it was a good way to kill an hour! Interesting as artifacts and nice Lon Chaney exhibit!
It was my first time to stopped by Austin for the museum. I definitely enjoyed my visit since it was very fascinating experience to see an unique place. It’s highly recommended and bring your friend/family if you want to stop by in Austin during your free time! The admission is very reasonable. So worth of your time!!!
Most of them arr alittle scary for me. 12 ticket, actually doesn't really worth, but you could come for fun.
