Justin Lazaro has been one of the best teachers that my son, Abhik, has ever worked with. When Abhik had his first couple lessons with him it was like he was learning more about the Saxophone in 30 minutes than he had learned in a year. Justins approach to improvisation is very insightful and useful. Content that teachers teach in 3 weeks, Justin is able to teach in less than a week. He pushes and motivates his students to reach their full potential. Justin has been an instrumental part of Abhiks acceptance into Jazz Regions, which wouldn’t be possible without his guidance and mentoring. Justins unique and insightful tips of approaching an audition is extremely valuable. In short, Justin Lazaro is a teacher who will push his students to reach their maximum potential and help them embark on a successful musical career.

I started learning violin when I was 9 years old with Mr. Gregory. Mr. Gregory, was very patient with me in the beginning of the learning process. Helping me perfect my intonation and bow-hold. Through these vigorous lessons, Mr. Gregory challenged me to reach my full potential. Now I am 14 years old , and through his teaching I have played in chamber ensembles that had competitive auditioning processes, and honors orchestras. I thank Mr. Gregory for helping me improve my violin journey year by year. He is an amazing teaching and through his secret tips and tricks, you will see a change in your violin. Definitely recommend him for anyone!
I highly recommend learning at the Music Academy of Metuchen if you are looking for an exceptional teacher with years of experience to help you learn an instrument or refine your music skills. I have been Mr. Gelman's student for over 4 years and have improved tremendously. Before taking lessons, I was performing in the last row during middle school orchestra concerts, barely able to play \Jingle Bells\. But within a few months of taking lessons with Mr. Gelman, I gained the confidence and skills needed to be promoted to the school's chamber orchestra. Thanks to Mr. Gelman's extraordinary teaching and caring personality, I have been able to perform at various locations and take the necessary steps to becoming a better musician.
My son has been taking piano lessons at Music Academy Metuchen with his music teacher Ms Leah for almost 2 years, and I am extremely happy at not just the progress that he has made in his music skills but also with the overall professionalism in their approach. Ms Leah has always been extremely helpful and willing to go out of her way to help him when needed. She is an excellent teacher and we would gladly recommend her to anyone who is interested in learning the piano.
Mr. Gregory Gelman is an excellent teacher. My son (10 years old) has been taking violin lessons for a year & has shown tremendous improvement. He is dedicated and fully invested in the progress of his students. He follows-up with his students to ensure they are practicing and challenges/pushes them to deliver their best.
