At 62yo, the last time I played a cello was when I was 14. Dustin, the store manager, made me feel so comfortable and answered my many questions without a hint of irritation. I decided to rent for a month or two to make sure I eally\ wanted one--and he took care of the rental quickly and with a smile. He readily answered my further questions via email. And when I showed up 3 weeks later to purchase, he took his time and helped me decide which one by asking me questions about my experience with the rental. He definitely helped me feel more comfortable picking up an instrument after a 48-year gap. I'll be using M&A for all my music needs--and definitely when I'm ready to upgrade. :) And if you're reading this and you haven't played in decades--DO IT. It's like riding a bike--only way more melodic.

Selection is OK, prices on everything other than the instruments themselves are double what you can easily find on Amazon and the service is PAINFULLY slow...like they’re going out of their way to make every transaction as long and obnoxiously complicated as possible. Seriously, only go there if you’re in a pinch and if there’s more than 2 customers ahead of you in line (and you don’t have 30 minutes to waste), do yourself a favor, turn around and walk out.
