Called the lady who runs this rescue and she was very sweet and helpful even when I could only bring a puppy I had rescued to her home. She was Greta with communicating and making sure I knew exactly what needed to be done. She has a large home in a nice area so I was hopeful she could help my puppy! She came out through the garage and my sister and I walked up and we immediately saw rats climbing up in her garage which was a huge red flag. She had just had some surgery on her back so she wasn’t able to really walk that much and the vibes were just odd. She asked my sister and I to go in first so she could lock the garage behind us. When I entered I was appalled, it was very dirty and gross looking. There was no furniture at all and her counters were covered in dishes and dirty kitchen wear like she never cleans. The ground was covered in dirt blackest and all the dogs there looked very dirty. It definitely was not a healthy or clean environment nor did it have any order, it was just chaos. She was a very sweet woman but I don’t believe this to be a legit rescue organization. I also put my puppy down for a second to meet the other dogs they all instantly were grabbing at him and almost attacking him like they were aggressive dogs with no training. It is clear she loves dogs and wants to help, just felt I needed to comment on the conditions of the rescue place itself.
She is such an amazing lady, we were trying to find a home for my mother-in-law dog Achilles since she wasn't able to take care of him anymore do to medical conditions. She couldn't take the Achilles in but asked for picture and a description of Achilles. Within an hour she called us back that she found someone that wanted to adopt him. Achilles is now in a loving and safe home being spoiled. We thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
Sent them a inquiry about a dog is still available for adoption, did not get any replies.
Great place to adopt dogs that have been abused or neglected and need love forever home.
