Was going to say this is a music lover's paradise... but it's really a musician fan's paradise. Fans know the names of the musicians behind the leads. Seeing the artifacts behind the most famous songs we grew up with and love... the actual guitars, drum sets, pianos and recording equipment that those iconic anthems of America were created on that live in all our ears and our hearts are right there to behold just inches away. A true music lover will shed a tear for the talent we've lost to the grave, and maybe even tears of nostalgia when realizing the piano you're looking at is the actual one that is playing in the background that accompanied your most cherished memories. A drum kit that actually played the beat of your favorite songs that was also your theme song as you walked to that same beat. If you're in Nashville, don't miss the Musicians Hall of Fame. It's a museum that we can all relate to because, in a sense, it is also about us... in our time... and those amazing, talented people who lived among us, in our lifetime, and just how important a part they played in our lives. That, without their creations, our lives would have been less full and maybe even less understandable.

Visited 12/4/2020. I didnt know what to expect before coming here. A lot of the people I've met that have been here have said always been one of those places that you have to visit. The interactive sites in the museum are closed due to covid 19. But I was able to still enjoy my self looking at all the artists, musicians accomplishments, accolades, awards. Such an amazing place. If you love music, especially how early music has started out like me. You should enjoy yourself.
An incredible, extensive collection of impressive music artifacts, including the instruments used to record some of the biggest hits in history. There's even a surf board signed by all of the Beach Boy and a drawing created by Paul McCartney! An essential for music lovers and an exciting experience anyone.
AMAZING, SO INFORMATIVE A MUST DO WHILE IN NASHVILLE Wife & I holidaying in your beautiful country for 2 months & spent 2 glorious 2 days in Nashville NOT LONG ENOUGH though so we will be back. We spent about 4 hours in your museum. We were a group of 6 friends visiting & played a lot with all your interactive instruments. I grew up listening to alot of this type of music with my parents constantly playing records so I was really in her element & wanted to look at everything in detail. This is a great museum with a lot of memorabilia If you are a really big music lover than this certainly is a must even if you are not still worth viewing. Tickets are not expensive at all. Great job keep up the awesome displays. Just for a little thank you we received a FREE guitar pick as a souvenir.
The history of music! Johnny Cash, Elvis, Motown, etc.. it was fascinating. The museum is not too big, so you aren't spending the whole day here. There was alot to see though. You can buy souvenirs in the lobby and you'll get to keep your VIP lanyard. Cost was 25.00 to get in and well worth it.
