We stayed in the loft above the garage for my wife's birthday in October. The place was absolutely disgusting. Hundreds of dead flies all over the place. The fan had about a 1/2" of dust. Had to unplug the fridge to sleep at night because it was so loud. Don't waste you money go somewhere else. We have given the owner multiple opportunity to own up to this disgusting place with no answer or reason why. We were suppose to stay the weekend and only stayed the one night and drove the 4.5 hours home. Pictures tell it all. This is after we swept up into piles!!!!

What an awesome get away, we went up for a weekend of XC skiing. The trails are private in the woods or open on the lake and we loved it. The home is beautiful, a must see. Kathryn was very helpful and kind. We will come back to stay in the tree house next summer. Read more
This is an awsome place to relax and enjoy nature. The custom woodworking in the house is exceptional! The paintings of wildlife all around. There is also great fishing opportunities and lake fun for all ages! Highly recommend staying here!
What a blessing. My husband and I truly enjoyed our visit. I call it a visit because The Wallentine’s made us feel like family. What a beautiful setting, and so wonderfully appointed. I wish we lived closer, to be able visit more often. I will stay in touch with them. And it’s our favorite go to VaCa for at least twice a year.
Kathy made me feel so welcome, her bed and breakfast is a place of beauty and peace, she works very hard to maintain that. I highly recommend a stay, you won't regret it
