Surfing lessons with Kokopelli was a highlight of beach week! From the ease of online scheduling to the amazingly fun lessons to the 150 pictures, the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Brandon and Zoe coached our party of five (ages 12-44), encouraging even the most cautious teenager to give surfing a shot. They spent time with us on the land going over safety, stretching, and warming up before moving to the water. Instruction was thoughtful and thorough - lots of on land pop-ups before attempting it in the water. Once we moved to the water, the fun really started! Nonstop smiles and cheers as everyone in our group learned how to catch a wave. Brandon carefully explained adjustments to make for the next attempts, building confidence and competence. I highly recommend adding on the professional photographer option. I didn’t want to miss out on surfing to take pictures - and the shots were far better than what I could have captured! Surfing with Kokopelli was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to schedule another session next summer!

Best money spent in Myrtle Beach! My son (9yr) had a private lesson with Jesus and had a great time. He was up and surfing right away and immediately scheduled a second lesson. Soon his sister (11yr) and cousin (11yr) wanted to join in on the fun! We had 4 lessons in total with both Jesus and Sean. The instructors were wonderful. We have definitely found a new activity that will bring a lifetime of fun and memories. We will definitely be contacting Kokopelli every time we are in MB, either for more lessons or for rentals.

We had an awesome time! There were 5 of us. Ages 10 to 14 and one adult. They met us close to our hotel. Everyone got on the board and surfed by the end. Our instructors were patient, fun, and professional. The kids had a blast. Highly recommend this place.

We were a group of 7 coming from New Jersey. We took surfing lessons at noon and went kayaking in the evening. This surf camp is incredible - every guide was amazing, attractive, amazingly attractive, skilled and professional. Thank you so much for making our day - Brandon, Wyatt, Andrew and Anthony! Thank you Andrew for getting my flip flop when I was stuck in the sand and hanging out with the slowpoke team in the back. You really took care of us. Thank you Wyatt for being such a cool and informative team lead in the front. I really enjoyed talking to you, we had a wonderful conversation and you seem intelligent. Thank you Brandon for being attentive to the whole party and helping everyone out. I loved that you told me to get out there and have that last wave, you were fantastic. Thank you Anthony for helping the boys catch waves! You were a great teacher for them and we love that you gave them your attention. We appreciate you all; that was - unarguably - THE best day of the very short vacation that we had. Wish everyone the best. Tl;dr: Go to them for fun times. - Tricia Crew.

I booked lessons for my family of four. We had the best time. Brandon and his crew were fun, super experienced and awesome! I highly recommend surf lessons with Brandon. I'm 42 years old and I had a blast and a new hobby to do with my kids ever chance we get. Thanks again for a stellar experience

After seeing these guys on the beach one day, my daughter really wanted to try surfing. They were super friendly answering my questions. They offer camps and group lessons. We chose to do a private lesson since she is 10 and thought it would be best. We were so pleased with the service! Great on land instruction and a great hour and a half lesson in which she had the basics down! She is so excited we are renting a board tomorrow! Thank you guys for making her day!

We did a private surf lesson while family was in town over the summer and had an amazing experience. Our 6 year old immediately fell in love with surfing and was able to do a couple of surf camps after our private lesson. Both surf camps exceeded our expectations and her love for surfing has only grown. I highly recommend Kokopelli for private lessons or surf camps. We will definitely be returning next summer!!
