Fantastic restaurant just a short distance off of 10th avenue. It is a self serve buffet, but you must wear gloves when going through the line and drinks/refills are brought to you. A gentleman breaks out into song every now and then. Nothing like a rendition of My Girl to brighten your day. We opted for the lunch buffet on our first visit. Very reasonably priced at 10.99 with a drink. There were several meat options that day, I opted for the pulled pork with tangy mustard sauce. It was definitely good, but the sides stole the show. I had never had chicken bog and am now obsessed with figuring out how to replicate it. Other favorites included the peach cobbler, sweet potato casserole, and mac and cheese. We enjoyed our visit so much that we returned for a second visit on New Year's Day. The line to dine in was lengthy, so we chose the drive thru. Food was still reasonably priced for carryout (6.99 for a meat and 2 sides). Unfortunately, they were already sold out of pulled pork and didn't have chicken bog. Definitely a must stop on return visits!

We stumbled upon this place by accident and was very happy we did. It was 10.99 drink included. At first we were unsure but as we sat in the parking lot debating at 11:30 am we saw so many vehicles coming in that we decided hey it’s gotta be good with people coming like this. Sure enough it was!!! The buffet isn’t huge if that’s what you’re looking for but it has everything and then some. The collards were absolutely Devine and the peach cobbler is one I’ll always want. This coming from someone who doesn’t ever go for the peach cobbler. So delicious I convinced my husband to get us the largest size to go which was only 9! (We also got 2 medium sizes for our cobbler loving Grammy and brother back home in NC). Simply southern is certainly on our list of favorites when we visit the beach and we will be back! P.S. If you’re worried about cleanliness and COVID protocols, they’ve got you covered. And all the staff were lovely, polite and helpful.
We’ve been coming here for a few years and everything has been fine. Today however, we came in, paid and sat down. No one came to help up so we got up to get our drinks. We didn’t pay attention to a sign that said server would get drinks. Well, the line worker jumped all over me! Said there were signs everywhere and she would get in trouble for it. I understand that part. But, she was rude and hateful about it! When we went to get our food I commented that the cashier should have mentioned it and she went off about the signs! All the while wearing her dang mask under her freaking nose! Practice what you preach! What nerve to jump on me when she never had her mask up the whole time. I was so upset I just picked at the food. Ruined the whole day. I’d rather pay more money and go somewhere else. At least I was wearing my mask right!!

Real nice place. Buffet is differnt everyday. Reasonably priced. Mac and cheese was a little dry. Potatoes could have used butter. But they were still good. Looks small for a buffet but there are 3 or 4 types of meat to choose from and several vegetables to choose from. We will go back.
