He is amazing great personality always happy to see positive changes in my life after my surgery March 18 2019 because of him I use to be 589lbs.. I love his honesty & gets right to the problem at hand obesity what to do & what not to do on a diet before or after surgery. Summary; Dr Tariq is indeed a very skilled surgeon in his field. Nice office, very nice and knowledgeable staff In my opinion. My issue with him is the way he handles his surgery schedule. He will not hesitate to juggle his scheduled surgeries and make another patient wait for hours. In our case it was he chose not to change his tool setup he had in the surgery before. So, for his personal convenience he chose to put another surgery in front of my wife spot which made us wait for over 5 HOURS past her actual scheduled surgery. That surgery that had a complication as we were informed (which does happen sometimes) I also absolutely agree we would never want to rush a surgeon (ever!). I don't think anyone would ask that. The fact is if he had cared about my wife and her comfort he would not have placed another surgery in front of her. So to say the least I was not too happy. Like he really cared as His response to us was we could \cancel\ knowing full well we could not afford that option (High ins.deductible) to wait to remove the tumor. In closing, It is obvious this is just his job, He is skilled, and he is busy, and gets well paid I am sure. Thats as far as it goes with him, and you can take it or go to someone else. Respect as a Doctor & surgeon 5 stars, Respect as a man 0 -1 star. I seriously doubt he cares either way.
