When they say Hi speed they mean it . Even though one of the crew members told me we were only going 25 miles per hour, it felt much faster which is good because it didn't seem like a long ride . It took 1 hour. It was great . Also you can sit outside the boat but be warned that one side of the boat is called the wet side and will is very windy and you will get alittle wet .
That is one smooth ride! This one-hour trip from Hyannis to Nantucket is a great way to visit Nantucket. The ship is very quiet, three decks with indoor and outdoor seating, and the bathrooms are clean. The booking, boarding and debarking process was smooth and efficient.
All around unacceptable! Worst experience ever! Stephen Blackman was totally disrespectful! I will never use this ferry again! Starting from the beginning it was canceled twice yet Steam Authority went weather was not that bad! Then when they left the ferry was half full telling me they didnt want to waste gas on three cruises! However coming back was the worst finally took Steam Authority! Yes Steam Authority provides a service you can count on and you don't have to deal with disgruntled employees and a second rate ferry!!
I've been taking this ferry since I was very little and I gotta say, it's improved so much. I really like how clean the boats are now which is awesome and the crew is very good at keeping everyone all safe and helps enforce regulations.
