My husband takes both of our cars to Acorn and the first word that comes to mind is Trustworthy. They don't try to upsell anything and don't add additional services in without asking you first. The guys here offer prompt service and answer questions thoroughly. Thanks!

Well I supported a local business, AND they stiffed me. They do not back their customers OR their tires OR their own service. I bought tires in September, brought them back in Dec with a slow rim leak in one which they said they fixed. They did not repair it as it leaked again. Tire slowly lost air with cold weather and ultimately went flat. I added enough air to get it going 25lbs and drove to Acorn. They identified it as a stem leak but then told me that they still won’t warranty the tire or their own service repairing it a month before since it was “driven with low pressure” and it’s 180 for a new tire. I was not even asking for a free tire, maybe just prorate the price on the replacement tire since it only had 3000 miles on it. NOPE NOTHING. I forked out the and left feeling they handled it disingenuously. BUYER BEWARE here, just drive past this place to Discount Tire where they back their products. John at customer service was fantastic, BUT the owner could care less about his customers. I WILL NEVER BE BACK, don’t make the same mistake I did.

One of their mechanic's Joshua, is top tier. He puts in all of the necessary effort and is very knowledgeable with his automotive repair and takes pride in his work. I used Acorn Tire initially for a Wheel alignment on a troublesome vehicle, they offered their service while no other shop in the immediate area was. It was quick and I appreciated their work. Since then I've had various work done on several cars there. I've had fuel dampeners, timing chains, coilovers, wheel bearings, motor mounts, a catback exhaust, 2 engines and 1 transmission installed there. (Nearly 20k spent through them in 2020) In my experience they are capable of completing the work requested, however they tend to rush things or put them aside. This is evident through several smaller incidents I've had with one of the vehicles I've brought there. However those few incidents are not accurate representations of the work of their qualified mechanics, but instead their time management. This particular shop seems to be pretty inclusive with the jobs they take on, however this is one of their weak points. If they continue to bring in any customer, this will inevitably affect how long they can dedicate to their more troublesome repairs. Acorn suffers from some of the same issues you will see at other shops, lack of transparency, few updates over extended periods of time. (During my last visit, I did not receive a call from December 26th until the week of January 24th.) Above all I feel the communication between their mechanics and service advisors/managers could be improved. Often times an explanation given by a manager will not correlate with the mechanic's and will leave the customer skeptical.

Long time customer as they are priced fairly and usually don't needlessly upsell.
