There was an issue with my account, and I was switching checking accounts for it anyway, so I went in person and was assured that at least the next payment would be taken care of. So I get an email today saying that it didn't go through because \- Bill due date was after the final occurrence date\. What does that even mean?

People in the finance department are very rude. When calling today at 8:29 am to get my account working to pay online I was hanged up on on purpose as the agent was rushing me out even though i was still asking questions of the precise amount to pay. Unfortunately this is not the first time i have dealt with them and have been talked to with no professionalism and hanged up on. It is a same that such a nice CIty has terrible people working as customer service.

Terrible customer service every time I called while renting in Naperville the last 3 years. Issues with overcharging my account, setting up double payments and just being of no help whatsoever. The most recent issue happened this morning. I stopped renting in April and terminated my account. This morning, June 4th, I opened my bank account to see I was charged for May. When I called, the man on the other end said that the account was terminated and that he has no records of anything being charged to my account. I told him I was looking at my bank account, and then magically he was able to see the charge. He said something about how the auto payment was still scheduled even though I cancelled my account 2 months ago. That didn’t make sense to me. When I asked how I could be charged since terminating the account and when I could expect to be reimbursed he told me to call back in 2 weeks. I said that was unacceptable and that either he should call me or confirm when the money would be refunded. He said he doesn’t know when the report would be run, so I could call back in 2 weeks. When I asked how often the report is ran, he said he didn’t know. How can you charge someone who doesn’t have service and then tell them you can’t do anything for another 2 weeks? Not to mention, I am supposed to call Naperville Finance back? That’s horrible customer service. In fact it’s not customer service at all. Again, this was the type of attitude and disrespect I received every time I called this group. As a note, I have never written a review on any company before, but this time I was so compelled to do so. Naperville is a wonderful place to live, and the representatives I have spoken to are a bad representation of it. I do want to note that I have talked to members of the dispatch team, and they could not have been more helpful.

I rent a home and and the landlord pays for all the utilities. One day the water was shut off no notice. The city didn’t leave any notice. When I asked the employee turning it back on they said they are not required to do so. Great customer service thanks!

Collette, Adriana, and Rodrigo are all great in their services. I’m frequently picking up transfer stamps from this municipality and it is my favorite one to go to.
