Great for those just getting back into Tennis or for an experienced player looking for more play time. Offers competition at all levels. Everyone is super nice and friends are easy to make in this league! No-stress flexible scheduling. Nice for those who have a busy schedule.

I love playing Gladiator tennis! The players are really nice and matches are fun. The players are all very courteous and play with integrity. You rarely come across difficult players. The league is organized very well and playoffs at the end of the year are my favorite. Gladiator is perfect for the new player, the player coming back to the game and the seasoned tennis player. There are levels for all.
This a great tennis league. I've been a member since the inception of the league. The league coordinator Steve really keeps the league well organized and is always very responsive to questions or concerns a member might have. Also, the league really attracts some great people, who want to play. Gladiator is a great way to get back in the game!
If you love tennis you need to try Gladiator. I've been in it for 10 years (with some time off for injuries). There are basically 5 \seasons\ per year, 3 outdoor and 2 indoor. You are scheduled with opponents of similar ability in your immediate vicinity. You play tennis, meet new people, and work on your game. The league administrator, Steve Hess, is outstanding. He communicates frequently on how the league works and also sets up other events outside of the scheduled seasons. I noticed everyone else was giving a 5 star rating. I was waffling between 4 and 5. To me 5 is perfect and to be honest some of my opponents have been people I never want to play again, but there's not really anything the league can do about that. On the whole my opponents have been great and I almost always look forward to a rematch. Some have become good friends. Scheduling matches is occasionally a problem because not everyone is as diligent as I'd like them to be. But again, on the whole, things are great. I give the league a solid 4.5 stars.
I'm entering my 10th season playing Gladiator Tennis. This program has grown so much in the past decade, but what hasn't changed is the competition, the good sportsmanship and most of all the fun! So if you are considering getting back in the game this is the place to start. You won't regret it! Steve Hess does a great job organizing the league, and he is very accessible and responsive. I like all the opportunities to play in tournaments throughout the year and meet different players I might not otherwise meet, plus when the tournament is supporting a charitable endeavor you not only get to get some exercise but you know your supporting a great cause!
Gladiator Tennis is a great way to play. I've been playing in this league for years. It's well run, and set up so you play against people at the same skill level who live near you. Each season consists of seven matches over seven weeks, so you can fit it in even if you're busy. The matches are scheduled by the players on public courts, so you don't need to belong to a club. If you've been away from tennis for a while, this is a great way to get back into it and meet other players. If you're not sure, it doesn't cost much to try it out. Highly recommended.
