This location was awesome! Went there without an appointment and got one within 15 minutes. Overall 45 minutes in and out. The staff was wonderful. Seem to have a great setup too. Take paperwork ahead of time and it is simple.

Doors opened at 7:30a. It is now 10:15am. Average weight time is 3 hours based on me asking people outside. This is a frequent occurrence. You can see in the photos that wrap around the building and down the street people with lawn chairs because everyone knows how long this takes. There has to be a better way.

Totally awesome!! I thought I would be there for quite some time. But to my surprise it was very streamlined compared to what I remembered. They were very knowledgeable and I was doneand out of there in no time.

The Naperville DMV was amazing today. I got there at 7:10 and went to line up at 7:15 after putting on my mask and layers since it was -17 with the wind chill. After waiting a few minutes we were informed that they are now doing appointments that you sign in for. I went in at 7:20, had my paperwork checked, scanned the barcode for the appointment app, signed up for a 7:50 appointment which I was told to come to the door at 7:45 for and was back in my car before 7:30. Went up at 7:44, was let in, went to each station with no wait until the cashier, paid, got my temp. license since they mail the real one and was back in my car by 7:55! Everyone working there was extremely helpful and cheerful. It was the best experience I have ever had renewing my driver's license! Kudos to the employees for their hard work, and for the secretary of state office for finally starting to take appointments as some other states do. You must go to the DMV for an appointment now, not sure if that will change in the future.

The line is really long, the last of the line standing by 75th street sidewalk already by 10am. Good physical distancing and face coverings are a must. Lesson learned: come in as early as they open 730am.
