Stinky. The two guys in the store were rude, grumpy and irked by my presence. I tried to ask questions about the fish in the case but I he simply told me the names of the fish and pointed at a poster on the wall. English is not spoken here. Fish was already cleaned and scaled before he pulled them out from under the ice. I paid cash. This guy is like the SoupNazi from Seinfeld but he's the FishNazi instead.

I'll never go back. I entered the market when there was no one else in it. There was no one behind the counter, but I could hear someone in the stock room to the right of the counter. There were few varieties of fresh fish, and what there was looked very fresh and the store smelled good. There were some small snappers that looked good, but no price was marked. After waiting for several minutes I finally looked into the stock room, figuring nobody knew we were there since no one had acknowledged us. The man said, "I heard you, go back to the counter and I'll be there." I tried to say to him that i just wanted to know the price of the small snappers, but every time I opened my mouth he interrupted and snapped at me to go back to the counter. Finally I left. I may have been a good customer, but now he will never know.

I was looking for a reasonable seafood market, the whole place smelled of bleach. I decided to give it a try. Got some huge scallops from here and some shrimp, I cooked them and they tasted like bleach, I ended up throwing everything away. Steer clear

I picked up some very fresh whole Yellow Tail Snapper the other day. It's a small market with limited choices but everything looked and smelled extremely fresh. The downside was the single person behind the counter. He was very polite but for some odd reason kept telling me all about Jesus and how Jesus saved his life how he loves Jesus so much etc. etc. etc. He just kept going on and on about, it was really off-putting then he went into a "I love Trump" speach, telling me how wonderful the man is etc. etc. etc. Aside from the Jesus/Trump ranting he was a good guy, cleaned the fish really well and it was delicious. He just needs to leave religion and politics outside of the workplace. I wouldn't have minded a bit if he just mentioned it but he went off the rails, very odd.

He practically butchered the fish in c/o cleaning. I just wasted my money. He put the crumbled fish in a bag and told me that I don’t know anything about the fish. I didn’t even have a conversation with him except requested to clean it for me. When I actually got home I realized that fish was really really old and he defrosted it & kept on the ice to make it look fresh. He told me that it is so fresh it came in today. Fresh fish blood color is red and old fish color is black. This junk was stinking and black blood.
