This was a great location to park and visit the beach or enjoy the park itself. People were socially distancing without masks, since it is outdoors. I recommend going early, because the parking can be difficult. But the rates are reasonable and the park was clean.

Loved hanging out here. Very family friendly. Easy to drive in, drive out. Feels very safe considering we saw a wallet on the ground and at the same time some kids picked it up and started running around to find it's owner. They did and their parents were proud of them...very cute experience! We place two pieces of art there for a short term exhibition. We loved the placement!

This park is great! Love that there are restrooms, outdoor showers, a snack shop, clean beach, very relaxing vibe. The sand was powdery like powdered sugar.

It was pretty cold and windy when we stopped in at Lowdermilk Park, so we didn't stay long. It was clean and we felt safe. A few folks were enjoying the beach but we stayed in the shelter house. Lovely views and well stocked concession stand. We thought it funny that a bold bird came in the shelter house when signs clearly instruct animals to stay outside.

Water... Transparent!!! We did see some jellyfish . But we saw dolphins too. Just be aware of your surroundings. But no strong currents, just fun in the sun! What I love? FOOD is available!! Great burgers, tuna, wraps and even salads available right on the beach! Made staying until a gorgeous sunset possible
