Jeffrey is a history buff and has been working at the BM for about a year and I can tell you that the only answer I got right out of his questions to the group was that horses were their main bread and butter and of course, dairy. ;) If BM decided to do a trivia themed event, you would want Jeff on your team. He is brilliant and funny. He intertwines lots of one-line-zingers into the message, so you have to be quick on your feet to catch'm. All kidding aside, Jeff is thoroughly knowledgeable and our 9-person group had a great time. We were from TX, NV, ME and FL. Oh and the guy in the mask's name is Jeff too. Thank you. I had fun.

This is very good place. We joined the Mansion Tour. It was amazing! And we experienced wine tasting at the end of the tour. All the wines were delicious. All the chocolates sold there also looked delicious. We had lunch there. It was a wonderful day.

What a wonderful little gem!! I wish we would have accounted for more time for our visit! We did the house tour and wine/food tasting. We ended up calling to book instead of booking online and I highly recommend that! They helped us get ideal times for both to ensure we had enough time between the tours. The wine tasting was so fun, and it ended up just being us and one other couple. The house tour was also wonderful, the house was decorated for Christmas (there are no pictures allowed inside the house) but it was a lovely tour with a great tour guide!! You can then walk the grounds and see everything else there, but we did not budget enough time to enjoy it all. Highly recommend for your Nashville trip!! They also had bourbon tastings which we really wanted to do, but we went with the wine instead. Next trip we will do bourbon!

Such a fun day stop. They have a bunch of tours to choose from but we did the self guided and had a great time. There are plenty of plaques around to learn and read from. They also have a winery and distillery on site so you can walk around with a drink! Perfect way to spend a nice weather day.

I took the Mansion tour this summer. At the end I found myself commenting about how they kind of glazed over the whole slavery part. They only talked about their one prized slave who took care of the horses, and how he wasn't really a slave at all, and they made it seem like they looked at this slave like he was equal (which I think we all know is not the case) while they didn't talk about the other slaves at all, until you get to the slave barracks and slave cemetery where it seemed inevitable. It seemed pretty insensitive tbh. But my tour guide in the mansion was very friendly and made the tour fun. The mansion is air conditioned also, so that's a plus.
