This is BY FAR the best Indian I’ve ever had! I make everyone eat here when they come to visit Nashville. It never disappoints! The service is always super great and fast! The owner is the nicest guy ever and always remembers my roommates and I! The chicken is the most tender chicken ever. 100000/10!!!

The food, though! I was hesitant about what to order, not having much experience with Indian food, but with the detailed descriptions below each item I quickly decided on a dish. I chose the chicken biryani! It was perfect. The ratio of rice and spice was spot on and the flavors were divine! I'm not a huge fan of raisins and the use of them in this dish was quirky and fun; a beautiful burst of sweetness to complement the complex flavors. We opted for the most popular naan, garlic. I don't like too much garlic, but the naan wasn't overpowering and accented the dishes nicely. My husband, a degreed chef, ordered the lamb curry. The curry was delicious and the lamb, phenomenal. Hands down some of the most tender meat he's ever tried, lamb or otherwise. He only wished there was more lamb and an option to up the size when ordering. You get to pick your level of heat. The store is kinda tucked into the cracks of West End. We ordered online for pickup. The lady that greeted me wore a mask, as did the 2 other customers I saw enter the store. As far as I know, they are not offering dine in, which I consider a smart option with the current circumstances. All the orders were well organized and labeled waiting to be taken home. The lady at the front was polite and made sure all the bags had what they needed.

The food was okay. It wasn’t bad, but all those 4 and 5 star reviews are highly misleading. (I’ll also add that I ordered something I’ve had many times before and it was nearly unrecognizable.) The 1 star is for average food plus being charged for items I didn’t receive plus that mentality that some small businesses have where they think it’s okay to skimp and cut corners on unsuspecting customers because they are a small business. I don’t know what’s going on here—paid reviews, change in ownership, etc—but it’s suspicious. I’d recommend going elsewhere or be careful.

Best Indian place in town. Love the people, love the food. Bring back the buffet! I’ll risk the Rona for it

This place is amazing. A friend of mine told me about this place. It’s very clean and the staff are very welcoming. I ordered a lot of food, I just wanted to try everything. Absolutely amazing, wish I could give more stars, I will definitely be eating here again, and I’m going to recommend this place to some of my friends.
