Very informative guide. The grounds and house were beautiful. It was really interesting to hear of all the important people that have been here and how things were and looked back then. It was nice to see some of the pieces that actually belonged to the family.

This is such a wonderful place! My husband and I spent 2 hours here today and enjoyed it immensely. Our tour guide (the lady who was formerly a school teacher) wore period clothing and was so knowledgeable. She really made it an enjoyable experience and provided so many wonderful details. It was really a fantastic experience!

Our tour guide was fantastic. We love hearing about history, and visiting a historic house where a battle took place was really fascinating. The ladies working there were so friendly and knowledgeable. We'll definitely visit again.

This place was really interesting. I loved the black history exhibit. I would go back here because of its good tour guides and great Magnolia trees.
